Advanced Placement Test Dates
Advanced Placement courses are taken by students who wish to learn about the level of the programs they will deal with at a college level. Most universities provide students with extra credit if they have completed AP courses and though AP examinations do not have a pass or fail grade, educational institutions will have a score requirement to grant extra credit.
Depending on the field the candidate wants to study, students will be able to take multiple AP courses along with their high school education. Taking these college-level examinations will increase the chances of getting admission for candidates since it will prove that the student is capable of tackling college-level education even alongside their high school life.
AP Test Dates 2023
The examination dates for AP examinations always fall in the month of May every year. The examination will be scheduled either for a morning slot at 8 am or for the afternoon slot at 12 pm depending on the subject. In 2023, the exams are being conducted in 2 slots one between May 1 to 5 and May 8 to 12. The schedule for 2023 is as follows-

Late-Testing Dates and Fee for AP Examinations
Candidates who cannot appear for the AP exams during the test dates that have been scheduled and those who have overlapping examinations will be able to take the tests using the late-test dates. They will be able to order for the late testing by applying to the AP Registration and Ordering section. The fee levied for late testing is dependent on the reasons stated by the candidate. Those who cannot take the examination due to overlapping examinations or due to important academic activities will not have to pay an additional fee for the same.
Those who have other reasons for taking the late examinations will have to pay a late-testing fee of $40 per examination. The late-testing dates that has been scheduled for 2023 are as follows-

What can a student do if AP exams overlap?
Most students will take multiple AP courses which can result in examinations overlapping. In case, they have overlapping examinations, they will be able to attend one of them during the regular slot and then schedule again for the late-testing option for the next exam.
