What is the cost of the Duolingo English Test? How to pay for the test?
The Duolingo English Test costs a total of $49 including the process of sending score reports. The test can be paid for after signing up in the Duolingo App by using a credit card or a PayPal account. Once the payment has been completed the student will be able to take the test on any day within the next 90 days.
What are the requirements specified for the Identity Proof submitted?
The Duolingo English Test requires students to submit the scanned copy of their Passport/ Driverâ€™s License/ Government ID for the quick setup before the exam. But the general criteria for the identity proof is as follows.
- ID must contain Full Date of Birth
- It must be a Photo ID

The Duolingo English test is split into three sections. The first section gives the student 5 minutes to upload their ID and review the rules and regulations of the exam. The second section is the graded section and is given a total of 45 minutes in all. The last ungraded section is given 10 minutes.
The exam has a total time duration of an hour where the student can choose to answer the questions at their own pace and complete the exam as early as half an hour into the test depending on their proficiency in the language.

Is there an age limit for students in order to take the Duolingo English Test?
Students who are 13 years of age or below the age requiring parental consent in their respective country, will have to email a permission letter from their parents to firstname.lastname@example.org. The email should contain the details of the student including their full name and email address used while registering in the Duolingo App.
How can the student view their results after taking the Duolingo English Test?
The test results for the Duolingo English Test will be made available within 48 hours of the test. Once the test results are made available the student will receive a mail from the Duolingo Team stating the same. The student will also be able to view their test history and results on the Duolingo English Test website.
What does it mean if the test gets canceled?
If the test gets canceled, the student will most likely receive an email stating the reason for the same. In most cases, they will be able to take the test at another time without paying.
How many times can a student take the Duolingo English Test?
A student may take the test 2 times in all in a 30-day period. Each time a test is completed, they have to wait for the results before attempting again. This is not applicable if their test results are not certified due to any reason.
