Summer exchange programs in Europe are academic sessions that are offered by education institutions usually between June and August for meritorious students from across the world. Ranging from a couple of weeks to a couple of months depending on the department and topic, these academic programs aim to: Many universities in Europe have tied up with educational institutions from across the globe for summer exchange programs wherein students from other countries can not only earn course credits by studying during the summer months in Europe but also get an opportunity to explore the continent. They are exposed to various cultures, besides the fact that they get to choose a study of their liking from a gamut of courses.

How does it work?

A summer exchange program is a tie up between educational institutions to enable knowledge exchange between students of different countries. Students from partner institutions of universities and colleges of Europe select eligible students to travel to these institutions for a short educational program during the summer months.

Course fee and Scholarships

Summer programs being of a very short duration are quite affordable. On an average, they may cost anywhere between $500 and $10,000. Students will have to spend extra for their accommodation, travel, and food. In a situation where universities from other parts of the world have an exchange program understanding with a European institution, they may bear the educational expenses of their students. However, in cases where such a facility is not available, students may opt for courses at universities that offer scholarships. A few institutions offer up to 100% scholarships for meritorious students on a need basis.
